Semiconductors and Microelectronics Education - Opportunities for Students

CERTIFICATE - Semiconductors and Microelectronics Certificate

OPP will add the certificate. They will contact all students who took ENGR 103 Intro to Semiconductors in the spring and those who were in the STARS program in the summer. Starting next spring 2024, OOP will ask all students in the ENGR 103 course if they would like to add the certificate. Enrollment in 103 will be the main entry way into the course.

MINOR - Microelectronics and Semicondurctors Minor

STARS (Purdue Summer Training Awarness, and Readiness for Semiconductors) program - will be offered in Summer 2024( equivalent to internship)

• Two tracks: Chip design AND semiconductor manufactureing
• Preference for STARS will be given to Purdue students who are enrolled in the Changing the World with Chips - Introduction to Semiconductors course (ENGR 10301). To apply visit here. Decisions will be made on a rolling basis. For STARS questions, contact EUR@purdue.edu.
